Who are we?
 
Eurosystems was established in the year 2000 with the specific task to bring a unique line of horticultural lighting to the United States. This task was a difficult challenge at first due to the voltage and hertz difference between Europe and the United States.
 
The whole product line had to be developed from scratch which took nearly 3 years of “in depth” research and development.
The founder of the company Eurosystems is Slawek Michalak, who also runs for the past 7 years, a successful hydroponic retail store in Northern California called Hydro Depot (www.hydrodepot.com). His experience also includes working as the Production Manager for General Hydroponics for 6 years. While selling the existing lines of horticultural lighting to his Northern California customers, he saw this opportunity to create a line of lighting with improved features and higher quality components to fit the needs of serious growers. Being from Europe, he was able to connect with a talented group of engineers and entrepreneurs from Poland and Germany who have expertise in manufacturing HID lighting for the past 40 years. Slawek’s highest priority was to use the best European components in building this product line. No expenses were spared when all of the parts, including the ignitors, capacitors, cords and receptacles were purchased from reputable companies like Schurter, Tridonic, and Metalluk. Also, the transformers were custom made specifically for this product line. These groups of engineers were very flexible with Slawek’s concepts and with no problem implemented all the ideas to make the product the way it is today. Many versions were shipped to the United States in late year of 2000 to test and ultimately decide whether improvements can be made. Finally, in the beginning of 2003, the product line had been completed.

Since then Eurosystems has expanded all over West Coast to become one of the most trusted lighting company among the best growers.
